About Judy

Experienced teaching. Healthcare understanding. Business-coaching perspective. Individual support.

I’m Judy Abramson, a UK-based, native English-speaking qualified teacher with a B.Ed (Hons), CELTA, specific OET preparation training and business-coaching training.

I’ve worked across education, the pharmaceutical industry and coaching, and I bring those strands together in a practical, individual approach.

Professional background

Teaching is my foundation.

I began my career in secondary education and became a Head of Department early in my teaching career. I later gained my CELTA qualification and have experience teaching English-language learners.

Good teaching means identifying what is really getting in the way and helping someone practise in a way that makes a difference.

Healthcare experience

More than 10 years working with UK healthcare professionals.

I spent more than a decade in the UK pharmaceutical industry, passed the ABPI examination, and worked with consultants, junior doctors, GPs, pharmacists, and hospital- and community-based nurses and nurse specialists.

I am not a clinician. What I bring is a strong understanding of healthcare communication and professional context.

OET teacher training

OET Knowledge teacher training.

I have completed OET Knowledge teacher training, including the OET Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking modules.

The Judy Method is an independent coaching service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by OET.

Business perspective

Qualified business coach.

That matters on the professional English side of the business. It means I can help not only with language, but also with how people communicate ideas, contribute in meetings, represent themselves professionally and move towards wider career goals.

How I work

Clear explanations. Specific feedback. Purposeful practice.

I will prepare properly for sessions and give clear, individual feedback. In return, I expect commitment and practice between sessions.

My approach

Why I call it The Judy Method

My coaching starts with evidence rather than assumptions: find out what is really happening, focus on what matters most, practise deliberately and use the results to decide what comes next.
